[KBS Jeju] Jeju Island will conduct a public rollout of hydrogen vehicles until the 6th of next month.
The subsidy for purchasing a hydrogen car is 39.5 million won per unit, with a supply of 79 cars planned for this year.
Jeju Island plans to finalize the recipients through an electronic lottery on the 10th of next month if there are many people interested in buying hydrogen cars.
To reduce the economic burden on users of hydrogen cars, Jeju Island has announced plans to lower the hydrogen refueling fee, currently priced at 15,000 won per kilogram, as much as possible.
Additionally, they plan to expand the number of refueling stations to a total of four by next year, adding to the currently operating Hamdeok Green Hydrogen Refueling Station.
