It has been revealed that the YouTube channel of Go Young-wook, a ‘underage sex offender’, has been ultimately deleted.
On the 23rd, Go Young-wook’s YouTube channel ‘Go! Young-wook’ is no longer available on YouTube, and a message stating “The account has been terminated for violating YouTube’s terms of service” is displayed.
Earlier on the same month, on the 5th, Go Young-wook announced through his X (formerly Twitter) account, “I have lived a shameful life. Feeling like I am getting old and feeble while lazing around at home, I am starting a YouTube channel aimlessly to break free from my lethargic daily life.”
He also uploaded a video titled ‘Fresh’ on his channel, which is about 3 minutes and 40 seconds long.
Later on, there was strong backlash from many online users regarding Go Young-wook’s YouTube activities as an underage sex offender. Some suggested that YouTube should take action against his channel, leading to the channel’s deletion just 18 days after its creation.
In 2020, Go Young-wook also tried to make a comeback through Instagram but his account was deleted within a day due to Instagram regulations.
In 2010, Go Young-wook was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison for multiple counts of raping and molesting three minors in his office and vehicle from July 2010 to December 2012. He was released on parole upon completing his sentence in 2015.
