The Blockchain Technology Innovation Support Center opens in Songdo, Incheon… the third in the country

Incheon Blockchain Technology Innovation Support Center Layout [Provided by Incheon City. Reproduction and DB restricted], (Incheon = Yonhap News) Reporter Shin Min-jae = A support organization for nurturing blockchain companies has opened in Songdo International City, Incheon.

Incheon City held an opening ceremony for the ‘Incheon Blockchain Technology Innovation Support Center’ (hereinafter referred to as the Center) at Michuhol Tower in Songdo on the 11th.

The Center was established with a national fund of 1.8 billion won after being selected for a public offering project by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. It is the third such center in the country, following Busan in 2022 and Daegu last year.

The Center occupies the entire 14th floor and part of the 16th floor of Michuhol Tower, and is equipped with facilities such as technology development and demonstration spaces, offices for blockchain companies (10 offices), a co-working space for startup companies (16 seats), multipurpose rooms, meeting rooms, a citizen experience space, and rest areas.

Ha Byeong-pil, the Deputy Mayor of Incheon, stated, “We aim to foster the blockchain industry centered around the Technology Innovation Support Center and create successful cases.”
