, ‘According to the data submitted by Rep. Baek Seung-ah of the Democratic Party at the National Assembly’s Education Committee on the 31st, out of the 2633 detailed employment information of 2022 graduates from medical departments, 60.7% (1599 individuals) found employment in the Seoul metropolitan area. The percentage of those employed in the Seoul area was 47.4% (1249 individuals).’,

, ‘The employment rate of medical school graduates in metropolitan hospitals increased from 55% in 2018 to 60.7% in 2022. In particular, 43.2% (738 individuals) of non-metropolitan medical school graduates (1710 individuals) found employment in the Seoul metropolitan area. Among them, graduates from Ulsan had the highest rate at 79.5%, followed by those from Gangwon at 70.5%. Furthermore, graduates from Chungnam at 61.5%, Jeonbuk at 45.8%, Gwangju at 37.9%, Gyeongbuk at 35.8%, Gyeongnam at 35.7%, Daejeon at 35.6%, Chungbuk at 32.6%, Busan at 29.0%, and Daegu at 28.7% were next in finding employment in the Seoul metropolitan area.’,

, ‘Regarding the current employment status of medical school graduates in the region where their medical school is located, over the past five years, Gyeongbuk saw only 17 individuals (3.3%) and Ulsan had 16 individuals (8.6%). Gyeongnam, Gangwon, and Chungnam regions also fell short of half with 77 individuals (19.6%), 214 individuals (21.1%), and 194 individuals (31.5%) respectively.’,
