Incheon Cheongna Lake Park to be renovated by July… Creation of Forest and Nightscape

Incheon Economic Free Zone Authority announced on the 15th that they plan to establish a forest and improve the nighttime scenery at Cheongna Lake Park by July.

They will invest 1.3 billion KRW to plant 289 trees at the outdoor amphitheater in Cheongna Lake Park to expand the shaded areas.

A children’s play facility will be installed in the park’s multipurpose plaza, and outdated facilities will be renovated to enhance visitor convenience.

Additionally, with a budget of 400 million KRW, LED lights representing the Milky Way will be installed in the forested areas, and landscape lighting will be introduced on pedestrian bridges.

Incheon Economic Free Zone Authority aims to complete all construction and open the park facilities by July.

An official from the authority stated, “We plan to develop Cheongna Lake Park as a healing green space during the day and a beautiful scenic spot at night.”
