The acidity (pH) of the surface of the child’s backpack was judged to be unsuitable as it exceeded the domestic standard of 4.0 to 7.5 at 9.4. Four types of phthalate plasticizers (DIBP, DEHP, DBP, DINP) were detected more than 11 times higher than the standard in the printing part of the backpack surface. If the pH of textile products exceeds the standard and shows strong acidity or alkalinity, there is a possibility of inducing skin irritation, allergic contact dermatitis, etc. In addition, formaldehyde in the lining of another children’s bag exceeded the standard by about 2 times.’,
