**8:13 AM Report…SWAT and Detective Teams Dispatched**
On the morning of the 10th, a report was received that a homemade explosive device had been planted at a high school in Nam-gu, Daegu, prompting a rapid response by the police.
Currently, SWAT and detective teams have been deployed to verify whether an explosive device is present.
According to the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency, the report of the explosive being planted in a high school in Nam-gu’s Daemyeong-dong was made at approximately 8:13 AM.
The police have immediately dispatched SWAT, detectives, and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team to conduct a search.
Currently, students and staff have been temporarily evacuated for safety, and some roads around the school have been restricted.
A police representative stated, “We are in the process of verifying the authenticity of the report, and if an explosive device is confirmed, immediate measures will be taken.”
The police also plan to consider the possibility of a false report and will pursue an investigation into the origins and sender of the report.
