“Thank you for being a part of my journey,” Jessi expresses gratitude to her fans.

**No Charges for ‘Fan Assault Inaction’ Controversy**

Roughly a month after being cleared of charges related to the fan assault controversy, singer Jessi has opened up with a lengthy post.

On December 1st, Jessi shared a long message in English on her social media account. Celebrating her 19th debut anniversary, she remarked, “I can’t believe it’s been 19 years already. Thank you, Zebbies (fandom name), for being on this journey with me.”

She added, “I wouldn’t be here without your unwavering trust and support through every critical moment of my career. Life is a journey with peaks and valleys rather than stable, predictable paths. We’ve experienced this rollercoaster ride together,” and reflected on her growth from a young girl starting her journey alone in Korea to a leading figure in the industry.

Jessi also mentioned, “The struggles I’ve faced have taught me that nobody understands my heart and challenges better than myself,” emphasizing the significant role her fans’ faith has played in her life. She concluded by encouraging her fans to pursue their dreams without fear and not to give up on their goals, expressing her deep love for them.

Previously, in the early morning of September 29th, an incident occurred in Apgujeong, Gangnam District, Seoul, where a minor fan requesting a photo with Jessi was assaulted by her entourage. As the controversy grew, Jessi personally requested her agency to terminate her contract and issued an apology on her SNS, expressing remorse towards the victim and their family. On November 7th, the Gangnam Police Station concluded that there was insufficient evidence to charge Jessi with threats or other allegations, resulting in a decision not to proceed with charges. However, rapper and producer Koala, who was present at the scene, was found guilty of assault and referred to the prosecution.

Meanwhile, Jessi, a Korean-American, was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. She debuted in December 2005 under the name Jessica H.O and has been active as a member of groups like Uptown and Lucky J.
