President Trump has embarked on an unprecedented second state visit to the UK. The royal family has prepared a ‘VIP reception’ for him, but London citizens have protested his visit by projecting videos onto a castle wall.

President Trump disembarks from Air Force One.

The British Royal Air Force guards form a lineup to welcome the distinguished guest.

The UK Foreign Secretary and a viscount representing the King also joined in the reception.

It is a tailored ceremonial welcome for Trump, who has long admired the royal family.

This visit by Trump comes at the state invitation of King Charles III.

The British royal family has never before invited the same person for a state visit twice; Trump is the first.

The UK is going to unprecedented lengths to win Trump’s favor with its state ceremonies.

At Windsor Castle, where a state banquet with the king is scheduled, a large-scale welcome event with 1,300 soldiers and 120 horses will be held.

A joint flight formation by both countries’ militaries, featuring an F-35 fighter jet for the first time alongside salutes, is also planned.

Prime Minister Starmer views Trump’s state visit as the perfect opportunity to conclude stalled tariff agreements and gain practical benefits.

The two countries are also set to sign deals worth over $10 billion, including nuclear projects.

However, British public opinion is cold.

Protests against Trump’s visit are ongoing in central London and in front of Windsor Castle.

“Trump, step down. Out, out.”

Placards with the words ‘dictator’ and ‘tyrant’ are abundant.

A video was projected onto the castle walls demanding clarity on Trump’s relationship with sex offender Epstein.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London from a Muslim immigrant family, criticized Trump in a Guardian op-ed, stating, “Trump incites hate and division.”
