In response to the permission granted by the United States for Ukraine to attack Russian territory with weapons provided by the U.S., Russia launched a concentrated airstrike on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Ukrainian President Zelensky visited Singapore, where the Asia Security Conference is being held, to request participation from Asian countries in the Ukraine peace conference.

A 24-year-old woman who was captured and taken as a prisoner in May last year while working as a police officer in Mariupol, Ukraine. When she heard her mother’s voice for the first time in over two years, she choked up.

Despite the exchange of 75 prisoners each between Russia and Ukraine, the conflict continues in other areas. Russia has launched a total of 100 missiles and drones towards energy facilities across Ukraine.
The reactions are interpreted as a response to the statement by the U.S. and Germany allowing Ukraine to strike Russian territory with weapons provided by their own country.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky has arrived in Singapore, where the Asia Security Conference and Shangri-La Dialogue are taking place. He is expected to appeal for participation from Asia-Pacific countries in the peace conference to be held in Switzerland in mid-June.
