” (Seoul=Yonhap News) By Hyun Yun Kyeong = According to Reuters, a suspected launch site of the ‘9M370 Burevestnik,’ Russia’s new nuclear-powered intercontinental cruise missile, which Russian President Vladimir Putin boasted as ‘invincible,’ was captured in satellite photos about 475km north of Moscow on the 2nd local time.”

” According to Reuters, two US researchers analyzed satellite photos taken by commercial satellite company Planet Labs on July 26th and captured a construction site believed to be a facility for the deployment of Burevestnik in a location 475km north of Moscow.”

” It’s been reported that this construction site is adjacent to nuclear warhead storage facilities known as ‘Bolgodar-20’ and ‘Chupsara.'”

” Decker Eveliss, a researcher at the CNA think tank in the US, identified through the analysis of Planet Labs’ satellite images that a facility with 9 horizontal launch pads is being constructed in the area.”

” Eveliss explained that these launch pads are divided into 3 groups within high ridges to protect them from enemy attacks and prevent the unexpected explosion of missiles from one launch pad damaging missiles in other launch pads.”

” Furthermore, Eveliss added that the ridges are connected by roads to a facility believed to house buildings for missile maintenance and parts, as well as 5 nuclear warhead storage warehouses.”
