, ‘The city, with its extensive distribution of pine forests and strong spring winds along the East Coast, is at high risk for large-scale fires, particularly as dry weather warnings persisted until the recent rainfall.’,
, ‘In March and April, there is an increased risk of forest fires due to a rise in visitors for spring outings and ancestral rites, along with local strong winds from migratory high pressure systems, necessitating a strengthened response system.’,
, ‘Pohang City has deployed 283 fire watchers and is flexibly operating monitoring activities in high-risk areas and during vulnerable times. This year, three additional observation cameras were installed, bringing the total to 13.’,
, ‘Moreover, the city has equipped itself with a leased helicopter capable of holding 3,400 liters of water, eight fire-fighting vehicles, and stationed 55 professional fire prevention and suppression personnel, divided into seven units, for rapid initial responses in vulnerable areas.’,
