Amid suspicions that the panda ‘Fubao’ is receiving poor treatment in China, the China Panda Conservation Research Center conducted a live broadcast to share Fubao’s current situation.
The China Panda Conservation Research Center publicly revealed Fubao’s daily life for about 30 minutes today (28th) in a format where reporters and caretakers met. The video showed Fubao eating food such as apples provided by the caretakers and living outdoors.
Although Fubao appeared somewhat healthier than in previously released videos, there was no response regarding allegations of undisclosed private encounters. However, it was explained that despite the netizens’ observation of hair loss symptoms on Fubao’s neck, no pathogenic bacteria or abnormal conditions such as allergies were found after trimming the hair on Fubao’s neck for inspection.
