According to the land register, it was revealed that this apartment was purchased by Kwon’s right-hand man, Han Chang-joon, the CFO of Terraform Labs, for 2 million euros (approximately 29 billion won). He also purchased two parking spaces.

According to the media, it was reported that Kwon and Han were hiding when they were listed on Interpol’s red notice list. The location of this apartment is about a 6-minute drive from the South Korean Embassy in Belgrade.

Serbian media DL News reported that residents working in the apartment complex testified to having seen Kwon and Han. The media expressed doubts about whether the Serbian authorities had investigated their activities and intended to arrest them. The Serbian police sent a letter of inquiry about Kwon’s stay in Belgrade to receive information but did not receive a response.

Meanwhile, Kwon, the founder of Terraform Labs, disappeared after departing for Singapore in April 2022 just before the ‘Terra·Luna crash incident.’ He then traveled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Serbia, and finally entered Montenegro. On March 23 last year, he was arrested at the Montenegro airport for using a forged passport while trying to board a chartered plane bound for Dubai, UAE.
