“Do you want to count my fingers?” Netanyahu, who faced controversy over his alleged death, raises his hand [Now News]

On the 15th local time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refuted rumors of his death by releasing a video of himself buying coffee.

Prime Minister Netanyahu uploaded a video on his Telegram account showing him at a café in the suburbs of Jerusalem, drinking coffee.

When a man filming the video asked, “They say online in Iran that the Prime Minister is dead,” Netanyahu responded, “I love coffee to death.”

Netanyahu further mentioned that the people of Israel are handling the Middle East situation fantastically. He then showed his hand, indicating the video was not AI-generated by asking viewers to count his fingers.

The “Netanyahu death rumor” spread after an unverified claim circulated that a video of Netanyahu’s speech released on the 13th appeared to show six fingers on his right hand, suggesting it was AI-generated.

However, experts have not given credibility to the death rumors, explaining that optical illusions could occur due to video filming and lighting angles.
