However, Park revealed she received a business investment proposal from Lee, who wanted to help, lending her 21 million KRW. It wasn’t just Park; subscribers nationwide received similar proposals and lent or gave money to Lee. The damages ranged from millions to tens of millions of won.
In December 2024, Lee abruptly disappeared, leaving only a message saying, “There are issues with the company. Please wait a little.”
A friend, Choi, who lent money to Lee, expressed frustration, “It’s frustrating not knowing what’s true or not. The money just seems to have vanished into thin air.”
The production team reached Lee, who claimed, “I was reported under the voice phishing law, and my account is unusable. I’ll pay back once it’s resolved.” When asked why she can’t repay using sold luxury items, she claimed they were all stolen. Besides, she cited excuses like being hospitalized or scammed.
One day, victims received contact from a mysterious man claiming to be Lee’s boyfriend, who informed them, “There are many victims, and she hasn’t done any group-purchase business—she gambled,” delivering shocking news.
An acquaintance revealed that Lee didn’t have her child and was indulging in leisure activities, casting doubt on whether her child was receiving proper care. Lee retorted, “Am I abusing the child? It doesn’t matter who takes care of the kid,” raising her voice.
