‘Super Tuna’ is a self-composed song created by Jin and his accomplice in 2021. The idea came from Jin’s hobby (fishing). The addictive melody and witty lyrics are charming.
This song dominated the US Billboard ‘World Digital Song Sales’ and ‘Digital Song Sales’ charts after its official release in 2022. It remained on the ‘Hot Trending Songs’ chart for 45 weeks.
After the ‘2024 Festa’ in June, it climbed back to the top of the World Digital Song Sales chart (as of June 22). Jin first presented the ‘Super Tuna’ stage in front of fans at that time.
The performance video was also hot. It recorded the top spot on YouTube’s worldwide popular videos list upon release. Various global challenges continued endlessly on TikTok and other SNS platforms.
The ‘Super Tuna’ (Special Performance Video) surpassed 100 million views on the 2nd of last month. Although it’s not an official music video, it achieved views in the billions within about 3 years of its release.
