(Seoul = Yonhap News) Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yu In-chon visited the site of the youth education team integrated assessment held at the N Studio, the rehearsal hall for the National Arts Organizations in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 13th to encourage the candidates.

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Lim Soon-hyun states, “You are not immature artists. I believe that fully mature professional artists have gathered here today,” said Minister Yu at the ‘National Arts Organization Youth Education Team Integrated Launch Ceremony’ held at the National Theater of Korea’s Haneul Theater in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 7th, as he encouraged the participants.

Minister Yu emphasized, “In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), new forms of art will emerge within 5 to 10 years,” and urged, “Prepare for newly fused forms of art amid these chaotic and unpredictable times.”

He continued, “If you do not clearly establish how to provide artistic inspiration to people, artists cannot be chosen,” promising, “The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will support you so that you can have the duty and responsibility to fiercely ignite your spirit and revive the artistic spirit.”

The National Arts Organization Youth Education Team program aims to provide public stage experience to young artists who find it challenging to gain practical experience and to discover the next generation of K-culture leaders.

This year, a total of 542 individuals have been selected to participate as youth education team members in organizations such as the National Opera Company, National Ballet Company, National Chorus, National Symphony Orchestra, National Dance Company, National Theater Company, and National Jeongdong Theater.
