(Yeo-su = News1) Reporter Kim Dong-soo: The city of Yeosu in South Jeolla Province is recruiting 9,300 participants for the 2025 Senior Employment and Social Activity Support Project.
The recruitment period is from December 2 to December 6. Specifically, the program plans to enroll △7,380 people in the Senior Public Interest Activities Project △705 people in the Senior Competency Utilization Project △280 people in Community Project Groups △100 people in Employment Support (Job Placement Type) △835 people in City Funded Own Projects (Senior Public Interest Activities Project).
Applicants for the Senior Public Interest Activities Project must be aged 65 or older and recipients of either the basic pension or a civil servant pension, while the other projects require participants to be at least 65 years old (some projects allow those who are 60 or older).
Working hours vary by project type: △Senior Public Interest Activities Project requires 30 hours per month △Senior Competency Utilization Project requires 60 hours per month, and △Community Project Groups and Employment Support (Job Placement Type) hours vary depending on working conditions, with a maximum of 8 hours per day and a wage of 9,860 won per hour.
Interested participants should bring their ID and apply by visiting the community center in their area of residence or one of nine private execution agencies.
