Regarding Israel’s potential violation of international law, Kirby mentioned that Israel has the right to self-defense, but engaging in dialogue and finding appropriate solutions with Israel is important.
He emphasized that they do not seek any escalation and do not believe that further military operations are the best way to resolve the crisis, highlighting the importance of diplomatic solutions.
