“United through Music”… Kia Holds Concert to Improve Multicultural Awareness

Kia announced on the 2nd that it will host the “United by Music: Harmonium x Run Piano” event once a month until December. The first event was held on the 30th of last month at the ‘Kia Unplugged Ground’ in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.

This concert is a collaboration between Kia and the project team ‘Run Piano’ led by pianist Professor Jonghwa Park. Kia’s ‘Harmonium’ is a social contribution project aimed at improving societal awareness of multiculturalism and supporting the growth of future multicultural generations.

The first performance included classical music and discussions, delivering a message of ‘Our Diverse Harmony Connected by Music’ to the audience. After the performance, Professor Jonghwa Park engaged directly with the audience to share thoughts on diversity.

Lee Deok-hyun, Kia’s Head of Sustainability Management, commented, “Through Harmonium, we will continue our efforts to improve perceptions of multiculturalism and support multicultural youth in growing into healthy members of society.”
