Seoul is currently experiencing a brief break in the rain.
In central areas, many places are transitioning to a light rain state today, while in the southern regions, heavy and abundant rain is expected.
During midday, the entire country will be very hot, with temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius.
For the rest of today, an additional 40mm of rain is expected in Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do, while the Seoul metropolitan area will receive around 5-20mm.
Today’s midday temperatures will be higher than yesterday, with Seoul expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius and Gangneung and Jeju expected to reach 34 degrees Celsius.
Rain is expected to return nationwide over the weekend, with the heaviest rainfall forecasted to be over 150mm concentrated mainly in central areas.
Next week, rain will continue in the Seoul metropolitan area and western region.
From tomorrow morning through noon, concentrated heavy rain of around 30mm per hour is anticipated nationwide. Please be cautious of flooding and damage to facilities.
