The Tivoli, a pioneer in the Korean small SUV market, is celebrating its 10th anniversary, according to KG Mobility (KGM). Since its launch on January 13, 2015, under the slogan “My First SUV,” Tivoli has achieved total sales of 429,279 units, including 301,233 units domestically and 128,046 units exported (excluding CKD).

Tivoli has gained popularity among the 2030 generation and female drivers who prioritize practicality and stylish design. In its debut year, it achieved domestic sales of 45,000 units, and even in 2017, when competitors like Kona and Stonic were introduced, it recorded sales of 55,000 units.

With a focus on product quality, Tivoli has solidified its presence in the small SUV market by winning various awards, such as the Grand Prix for Ergonomic Design (April 2015), the Ministry of Land’s 1st Grade Safety Rating (August 2015), the Ministry of Industry’s Good Design Award (December 2015), and the 19th Korea Brand Awards Excellence Award (December 2017).

Tivoli has also earned accolades in its primary export market, Europe. It was selected in the “Small Car/Crossover of the Year” category at the “Golden Steering Awards 2015,” hosted by the Turkish edition of the European car magazine Auto Bild, and named “Family Car of the Year” in the Mid-Size Vehicle category at the 29th VAB Family Car Awards organized by the Belgian-Dutch Automobile Association (VAB) in 2016.

A KGM representative stated, “Tivoli, true to its name, has strived to be part of our customers’ joyful daily lives by offering endless inspiration and enjoyment. We will continue to enhance our products and maintain our status as an iconic model in the small SUV market.”
