**’7,000 Won Sharing Relay’ for 1.1 Million Ulsan Citizens Also Underway**
(Ulsan=Yonhap News) Reporter Jang Ji-hyun – The ‘Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign’ of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea began on the 1st.
This campaign will continue for two months until January 31 of next year, with a fundraising goal of 7.25 billion won.
During the campaign period, the thermometer tower, which reflects the progress of donations, will be installed in the Ulsan City Hall plaza. For every 72.5 million won collected, which is 1% of the goal, the temperature on the thermometer will rise by one degree.
Last year, donations exceeded the target amount of 7.15 billion won, reaching 7.27 billion won.
At the campaign launch ceremony, S-Oil Ulsan Welfare Foundation contributed 191 million won, leading with the first donation.
Separately, Clark FL Co., Ltd. has been newly inducted as a ‘Distinguished Donor Company,’ and two public officials who received a patent for odor reduction filters joined as sharing leaders.
In this campaign, a new citywide project called the ‘7,000 Won Sharing Relay’ will be conducted. If all 1.1 million citizens donate 7,000 won each, the thermometer tower can reach 100 degrees.
Citizens who wish to participate in the donation can visit the fundraising office, district or county offices, town or township administrative welfare centers, or broadcasting station donation reception centers.
Online donation applications, bank transfers, credit card donations, and QR code donations are also available through the fundraising committee’s website.
Jeon Young-do, chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, stated, “We ask for your interest and participation so that the ‘Fruit of Love’ results in a bountiful outcome, allowing our neighbors in need to have a warm winter.”
