Kim Bo-hyun, who appeared on JTBC’s “Divorce Retreat Camp,” shared an update on her life after giving birth. On the 6th, Kim Bo-hyun posted on her account, “It’s been five months since I appeared on ‘Divorce Retreat Camp.’ I’ve received a lot of criticism and was even reported for child abuse. Of course, before going on the show, I went through a lot of deliberations and had counseling I wanted to pursue but couldn’t.”
She explained her reason for appearing on JTBC’s “Divorce Retreat Camp” last December, saying, “People said we wanted to be on TV for fame. We fought a lot, and seriously, there were no solutions. We both weren’t working, the debt piled up, and with six kids, who would take care of them? Who would want to know about my debts? There was no other solution. We didn’t want to burden our kids, so this was the only option I could think of. We both recognized our shortcomings and were struggling, so we didn’t want to show this side to our kids.”
Kim added, “We always apologize and admit our faults, but the people in our community and workplaces know the true us, so they don’t say anything. Ultimately, the child abuse accusations were found to be unsubstantiated for both of us. Last year was tough for us all. We’re improving, attending counseling, going to hospitals, and a baby was born. Our baby is currently unwell, so we go to the hospital and don’t think about making appearances anymore. The baby underwent heart surgery, and it was a very trying time until they were discharged.”
She mentioned, “I’ve been called ignorant and brainless, but right now, I need to focus on my baby who underwent heart surgery, so I won’t be posting on Instagram anymore. Thank you for saving our baby. Each day is precious, and I feel grateful every day thanks to our baby.”
Kim Bo-hyun and her husband Kim Eun-seok, who is ten years older, appeared on “Divorce Retreat Camp” last year. Both were unemployed, and Kim Bo-hyun, who has been in the spotlight as a ‘natural couple,’ had seven pregnancies and births over 12 years, starting when she was a minor.
