[Sports Chosun Reporter Moon Ji-yeon] Actress Kim Hye-yoon (28) mentioned her chemistry with Byun Woo-seok.
Kim Hye-yoon recently met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul for an interview following the conclusion of the tvN drama “Live On” (written by Lee Si-eun, directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Kim Tae-yeop).
Fans are requesting “Are you dating?” because of the chemistry between the two. Kim Hye-yoon said, “We had our first conversation through this work, and we were able to become very close very easily. He was very considerate. Like an older brother next door. Of course, it’s hard to find an older brother next door like that, but he has a very friendly and caring vibe. He treats me very cutely, and I am truly grateful. I don’t know what will happen between people, but he is a good colleague,” she said with a pleased smile.
Kim Hye-yoon answered that her ideal type is someone who makes her happy and laughs a lot when they are together and has good chemistry. When the reporter asked, “Is he like an older brother next door?” she laughed and said, “There is no such older brother next door,” and even with teasing about being 190cm tall, she said, “He just needs to be taller than me,” bringing laughter.

Kim Hye-yoon has worked with various male actors such as Rohwan, Lee Jae-wook, and Byun Woo-seok in her career. In response, Kim Hye-yoon said, “When I hear such things, I am very grateful. It’s not that they did well because they worked with me, but rather they were originally talented individuals. I think I happened to join works that they were doing well in. If I had to give myself credit, I think I contributed to making the height difference more noticeable. Things like hand size and foot size being small,” she said.
When asked if there is anyone she feels most proud of growing with among the actors she has worked with, Kim Hye-yoon pointed out Byun Woo-seok for being proud of her growth in “Live On.” She laughed, saying, “As he gradually drifts away, I have been watching him from the beginning. It’s like that. Seeing him on ‘Yoo Quiz’ was him gradually drifting away,” she said with amusement.
Recalling the video message Byun Woo-seok sent her on ‘Yoo Quiz,’ Kim Hye-yoon expressed her gratitude, “I am very thankful because he was one of the people I relied on on set. He said he would treat me to a meal, so I’ll take him up on it anytime. He paid for meals when we met at a restaurant, and I relied a lot on him on set. I appreciate that he helped me a lot emotionally when I needed to focus at that moment in acting,” she said.
