Sledding, ice fishing, and even fireworks… A winter wonderland for both children and adults.

Seoulland is set to transform into a magical winter wonderland with the opening of its snow sledding slope on the 21st. Visitors can enjoy 120m of thrilling sledding slopes and participate in delightful smelt fishing. Additionally, romantic Christmas markets and fireworks displays are planned.

Seoulland’s snow sledding slope, the symbol of winter play, opens on the 21st. Snowland, where the sledding slope is located, also features a snow playground, urban smelt ice fishing, and ice sledding experiences.

The sledding slope, a major reason why visitors anticipate Seoulland’s winter, spans an area of approximately 8,500m² (about 2,600 pyeong) with a 120m general slope and a 50m children’s slope. The slope is not too steep and is wide enough for both children and adults to enjoy the thrill of speed.

Children under 120cm can ride the children’s slope with a guardian, offering everyone the joy of sledding. In addition to sledding, the snow playground provides activities like building snowmen and snowball fights. Starting with the children’s slope, the general slope and snow sledding areas will open on the 21st, available for free to all Seoulland visitors.

The smelt fishing experience is a winter favorite, available in the urban setting with two types: scoop net fishing and ice fishing on a frozen lake. Participation in scoop net fishing is on a first-come, first-served basis, while ice fishing will open depending on weather conditions.

Seoulland also hosts indoor performances for a warm winter experience. “Let’s Go, the Forest of Fairy Tales” is recommended for young visitors, and “Laugh Out Loud! Comic Magic Concert” is a special weekend event for family audiences.

Special Christmas performances are also lined up. On December 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25th, the “Nini Kids Sing-Along Concert” will be held at the Log Cabin Theater, featuring popular children’s characters for an enjoyable Christmas carol experience.

Events are planned to celebrate the Christmas season, including “Holly’s Christmas Market.” The European-style Christmas market, centered around an 8m tall Christmas tree adorned with ornaments and lights, offers a romantic atmosphere with artificial snowfall.

Throughout Seoulland, Santa and elves will appear, providing surprise photo services and guerrilla performances to create a festive Christmas atmosphere. Every weekend and on December 24th and 25th, large-scale Christmas fireworks displays will take place. This year’s fireworks feature will follow the “Snow Music Globe Dance Party,” enhancing the magical white Christmas with snow and fireworks.
