The calendar is heading towards autumn, but the hot weather is still continuing. This week, the daytime temperatures are expected to rise to around 32 degrees Celsius, continuing the heat wave. There will be sporadic tropical nights and showers are forecasted from morning to evening. 5 to a maximum of 40mm of precipitation is expected in the eastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong, southern regions, and Jeju. Due to the nature of showers, heavy rainfall may pour in narrow areas.
Today (26th), the sky will gradually become cloudy. There will be a strong surge in swells along the east and south coasts. If you check the current temperature in Seoul, it is 25.7 degrees Celsius, slightly exceeding the tropical night standard of 25 degrees. By daytime, Seoul will reach 31 degrees, and Daegu 33 degrees, which is similar to or slightly lower than yesterday. The tropical night will subside in the middle of the week, but the heat wave will continue. Meanwhile, a distant typhoon is heading towards Japan, and it is not expected to directly affect South Korea.
