(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Ki-hoon = Seoul City announced on the 17th that the citizen bulletin board installed on the outer wall of the main city hall building has been replaced with a new electronic display and has been in operation since the 16th.

The new display measures 9 meters in width and 12 meters in height and is designed with high brightness and low power consumption specifications.

Considering recent trends in the advertising market, where vertical content (Shorts, TikTok, Reels) is mainstream, and with the aim of providing an optimized screen for citizens familiar with mobile devices, a vertical display was chosen.

The previous citizen bulletin board, installed in August 2015, was replaced due to frequent malfunctions caused by aging, which made effective information delivery difficult.

The city explained that it plans to operate a variety of content, including major policy promotions, citizen participation, regional coexistence, and in-house produced high-quality policy videos.
