Samsung Electronics has officially launched the ultra-slim smartphone ‘Galaxy S25 Edge’ in South Korea on the 23rd. The ‘Galaxy S25 Edge’ is the slimmest model in the history of the Galaxy S series, with a thickness of only 5.8mm. It features a 6.7-inch display, which is 1.5mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Plus. The device is available in three colors—Titanium Silver, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Ice Blue—and comes with either 256GB or 512GB of storage, priced at 1,496,000 won and 1,639,000 won, respectively.
During the domestic pre-sale period from the 14th to the 20th, over half of the buyers on Samsung.com were from the 1030 demographic. The most popular color was ‘Titanium Silver’, known for its harmonious blend with the titanium frame and rear color, with ‘Titanium Ice Blue’ and ‘Titanium Jet Black’ also being favored by many customers.
The front display features the new mobile glass ceramic, ‘Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2’, offering enhanced durability against everyday impacts, scratches, and cracks. The device boasts a high-strength titanium frame and supports IP68-rated water and dust resistance, ensuring stable usability even outdoors.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with the same ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy’ as the rest of the Galaxy S25 series, providing fast and stable performance. It also includes a thinner and wider ‘Vapor Chamber’, ensuring effective heat control even during prolonged use. Additionally, premium photography experiences are provided by a 200-megapixel ultra-high-resolution wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, along with autofocus (AF) for close-up photography.
Samsung offers various content benefits to purchasers of the Galaxy S25 Edge, including a 6-month free subscription to Google One AI Premium, a 3-month Willa subscription, and a 3-month unlimited subscription to domestic and international digital magazines through Moazine, as well as a 30% discount coupon for accessories available on the Samsung.com app.
Moreover, Samsung is running a ‘New Galaxy AI Subscription Club’ for customers purchasing the Galaxy S25 Edge. By joining the subscription club, customers buying the unlocked Galaxy S25 Edge model can receive benefits such as up to 50% residual value compensation upon device return, Samsung Care Plus (smartphone damage protection), and discounts on mobile accessories.
The subscription period can be chosen between 12 months and 24 months, with a monthly fee of 5,900 won. Customers maintaining their subscription for 3 months after joining Samsung.com by the end of May will receive a 3-month subscription fee cashback benefit.
