“Samsung Galaxy S Ultra” Ranks First in US Consumer Reports for Two Consecutive Years

[Digital Daily, Reporter Kim Moon-ki] Samsung Electronics (CEO Han Jong-hee) announced on the 11th that the ‘Galaxy S25 Ultra’ has ranked first in the latest March smartphone evaluation by the prominent U.S. consumer magazine ‘Consumer Reports’.

The ‘Galaxy S25 Ultra’ followed last year’s release of the ‘Galaxy S24 Ultra’ by also taking the top spot in the Consumer Reports smartphone evaluation. This marks a success for two consecutive years.

With a total score of 87, the ‘Galaxy S25 Ultra’ tied for first place with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which received the same score of 87. The ‘Galaxy S25+’ scored 86, placing it in a tie for third alongside the ‘Galaxy S24 Ultra’ and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The ‘Galaxy S25 Ultra’ received the highest score of 5 points in most categories among the 10 evaluation criteria by Consumer Reports, including Performance, Rear Camera Image Quality, Display, Durability, and Ease of Use.

Consumer Reports praised the ‘Galaxy S25 Ultra’, stating that it “has the highest-performing camera system among the smartphones tested” and is suitable “for those looking for a premium Android smartphone with a top-tier camera and large display.”

Consumer Reports, a representative non-profit organization in the U.S., is the largest consumer goods monthly magazine published by the American Consumer Union, offering consumers comparisons of performance and prices of nearly all consumer goods each month.

Meanwhile, the ‘Galaxy S25 Ultra’ was also named the top smartphone by consumer associations in the UK and Denmark, following its number one ranking in smartphone evaluations in five European countries (Italy, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, and Sweden).
