Samsung Electronics Vice Chairmen Han Jong-hee and Jeon Young-hyun emphasized in their 2025 New Year’s address, “Let’s lay the foundation for a leap forward through bold innovation that transcends the existing success methods.”
In the joint New Year’s address, Vice Chairmen Han and Jeon stressed the necessity of surpassing traditional success strategies amidst a turning point in artificial intelligence (AI) technology. They declared, “With advanced intelligence, let’s firmly establish ourselves as a leading device AI company this year.”
They also stated, “The future shaped by AI will offer us numerous opportunities,” and outlined plans to “proactively discover new products and businesses, innovative business models, and decisively invest in future technology and talent.”
The Vice Chairmen also highlighted the importance of quality competitiveness and compliance management. They noted, “To strengthen our core business areas of technology and quality competitiveness, we further enhanced our AI and quality-focused organizations last year,” urging commitment to ensuring future technology leadership and rigorous quality assurance.
Furthermore, they emphasized the adherence to law and ethical principles as a primary management guideline and called for efforts to establish a culture of compliance, expressing hope that this year will be remembered as a year of advancement and growth in Samsung Electronics’ history.
