Police to investigate the Korean Medical Association’s total strike and take strict action against illegal demonstrations.

The Korean Medical Association announced a group strike tomorrow (18th), and the police reiterated their policy to start investigations if there are reports of refusal to follow medical orders.

Seoul Police Chief Jo Gi-ho stated in a press conference this morning, “We will cooperate with the health authorities’ on-site inspections, and if the health authorities report, we will conduct investigations.”

Furthermore, he added that while ensuring the safety of the rally scheduled to be held in Yeouido, Seoul tomorrow, strict measures will be taken against any illegal activities.
