Doctors who leaked or shared the list of public health doctors (Gongbo-eui) dispatched to the medical field in place of the group-resigned specialist doctors have been handed over to the prosecution.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Cyber Investigation Unit stated today (16th) that they have non-arrested a total of 13 people, including 11 doctors and 2 medical students, on suspicion of leaking official secrets and violating the Personal Information Protection Act.

Among the 11 doctors handed over to the prosecution, there are 6 public health doctors and 2 specialist doctors included.

According to the police, among them, Mr. A, a public health doctor, is under suspicion of being the first to leak the ‘list of public health doctors dispatched for emergency medical support in medical institutions’ on social media, while the others are under suspicion of posting and sharing the list on internet communities.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health and Welfare reported to the police on March 12 that a list of dispatched public health doctors, including information about their workplace and the hospitals they were dispatched to, was uploaded on internet communities, requesting a police investigation.
