Pearl Abyss has released a video titled “Developer Commentary” discussing the autumn roadmap for the mobile game ‘Black Desert Mobile.’

New class ‘Kurenai’, new updates, content simplification, and reorganization plans shared

Pearl Abyss revealed a developer commentary video for ‘Black Desert Mobile’. According to Pearl Abyss, the video was released on the 14th of the month.

An Hyung-kyu, the head of game design for Black Desert Mobile, along with key developers, appeared and unveiled the autumn update roadmap. The new class ‘Kurenai’, new updates, content simplification, and reorganization were revealed.

The new class Kurenai is an awakening class for ‘Kunoichi’. It utilizes the crescent-shaped main weapon ‘Saharyun’ and the sub-weapon ‘Shuriken’. It is capable of various attack patterns such as slashing, stabbing, and throwing, and can temporarily enhance the body to increase mobility and attack speed. It specializes in agile and stealthy skills, as well as bleeding attacks to confuse enemies.

It is scheduled to be released on the 22nd in Korea and on the 5th of next month overseas. New update contents such as Guild League regular season and Sumah’s Castle are also being prepared.

In addition, they announced updates for user convenience such as the ‘Character Selection Window Renewal’, which allows viewing and decorating characters in one space, a more immersive storytelling experience in quests, and content reorganization to provide consistent gameplay experiences for players from over 150 countries.

The newly introduced season ‘Autumn’, the first through the developer commentary, will begin on the 15th. Adventurers (players) who play the Autumn season will have about 10% stronger combat power upon completing the basic Season Pass. As a graduation reward, they will receive a ‘Radiant Chaos Crystal Selection Box’ that allows them to obtain the highest-grade chaos crystal.

Major quests have also been renewed. They reduced the number of major quests up to the ‘Calpheon’ region to support rapid growth. User interface (UI) has been improved to make it easier to track quest progress.
