The People Power Party’s lawmaker Park Jung-hoon appealed for unity, stating that now is not the time to be divided between pro-Yoon and pro-Han factions, but rather to join forces to block the main adversary, Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party.
Today (31st), through his social media, Park stated, “The main adversary of South Korea at present is Lee Jae-myung, more so than Kim Jong-un, as while Kim lacks capability and is powerless without nuclear weapons, Lee Jae-myung, if he comes to power, will ruin the country.”
Park further criticized Lee Jae-myung as someone who treats lying as his motto and has lived by selling out his conscience for profit. He argued that if Lee comes to power, he will annihilate even sound conservatism and attempt to create a foundation for perpetual rule through constitutional revision and election law changes.
He also pointed out, “On one side, people say they dislike Yoon Seok-yeol, and on the other, they dislike Han Dong-hoon more.” He warned that such conflicts become the “nourishment for Lee Jae-myung’s rise to power.”
Park concluded by questioning, “How can we fight against Lee Jae-myung, the main adversary of South Korea, while harboring greater animosity toward Yoon Seok-yeol or Han Dong-hoon in our hearts?” and warned that such hypocrisy would only open the door to a “Lee Jae-myung dictatorship era.”
In closing, Park suggested, “Let’s prioritize protecting South Korea and stop the hatred, let us cease the animosity towards our comrades.”
