Motorola launches budget smartphone ‘Edge 50 Fusion’… Exclusive to KT

(Seoul = News1) Reporter Kim Seung-jun = Motorola Korea announced on the 28th that it has officially launched the ‘Edge 50 Fusion’ in the domestic market.

The product is exclusively available through KT’s official online shop.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes in three colors: Forest Blue, Marshmallow Blue, and Hot Pink.

The official retail price for the 256GB model is 349,800 KRW.

Motorola stated, “If you use the KT 5G plan, the entire installment principal for the device will be waived, excluding communication fees.”

The Edge 50 Fusion features a 6.7-inch OLED (PoLED) display supporting a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a screen brightness of 1600 nits. Additionally, it has a large 5000mAh battery and supports 68W ultra-fast charging.

The rear camera includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens system. The front is equipped with a 32-megapixel quad-pixel camera for high-quality selfies.

User-convenient features are also included. With the My UX software, simple gesture functions like shaking the device to turn on the flashlight or capturing the screen with a three-finger touch are available.

On-screen fingerprint recognition and the ThinkShield security platform, applied in ThinkPad, are also included to securely protect user data.

Other specifications include Android 14, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, 8GB RAM, Full HD+ resolution, IP68 waterproofing, and a weight of 186g.

A representative from Motorola Korea said, “This aligns with the purpose of removing the device subsidy regulations, providing an economical and rational choice that reduces the consumer’s communication cost burden.”
