“Lim Ji-yeon♥” Lee Do-hyun, a passionate confession of love after discharge… “No regrets after 3 years”

Actor Lee Do-hyun has completed his military service and returned to his fans’ side.

On the 14th, Lee Do-hyun shared on his social media account, “The 1 year and 9 months, which felt long if long and short if short, but not short to me, have passed. In terms of calendar years, it’s been 3 years. The time felt extremely long, but now that it’s over, it seems to have passed quickly, which is a bit regretful! I feel relieved as I think I did my best in the military service without regrets.”

Lee Do-hyun continued, “I’m preparing an event where I can directly communicate and share stories with the fans that I haven’t been able to share during that time. I’m working hard to show as many different aspects as possible. I would be grateful if you could brighten the event with your presence as a little token of gratitude for the love you’ve given me.”

He added, “As I look forward, my mind is a mix of fear and excitement. I will greet you with good works and great acting as I strive to become a better person.”

Meanwhile, Lee Do-hyun enlisted on August 14, 2023, and served in the Air Force’s military band. He completed his service by reporting his discharge at the Air Force Headquarters in Gyeryongdae, Chungnam, on the morning of the 13th. It was reported that his partner, Lim Ji-yeon, could not attend the discharge event as she was present at a jewelry brand’s photo call that day.

Here is Lee Do-hyun’s full statement on his discharge:

“Hello, everyone! This is actor Lee Do-hyun!

The 1 year and 9 months, which felt long if long and short if short, but not short to me, have passed. In terms of calendar years, it’s been 3 years. The time seemed incredibly long, but now that it’s over, it seems to have gone by quickly, which feels a bit regretful! I feel relieved as I believe I completed my military service to the best of my ability without regrets. Thanks to the love and support from my dear fans, my fellow Air Force band members, and the officers, I was able to finish with happy memories and a good spirit. I’m truly grateful.

I’m preparing an event to communicate directly with the fans and share the stories we haven’t had the chance to share! I’m working hard to present as many diverse sides as possible! I would be incredibly grateful if you could illuminate the event as a token of my appreciation for the love you’ve given me!

As I look forward, my heart is filled with fear and excitement simultaneously. I will meet you with good works and great performances with the determination to become a better person.

See you at the event!

Once again, thank you so very much, and I love you.”
