Discount events for popular movies and performance VODs will also be held during the holiday period. U+tv customers can purchase over 50 popular movies such as ‘Pilot’, ‘Amazon Hwalmyungsu’, and ‘Love’s Hachu-ping’ at discounts of up to 60%. LG Uplus’s movie subscription service ‘Uplay’ offers exclusive content for the whole family during the Lunar New Year. Uplay exclusively premieres the Chinese animation ‘Yousu-un’ (Animals in Fantasia) from seasons 1 to 4 in Korea for the first time, along with series like the entire ‘Crime City’ (1-4 parts), and ‘Alien+Human’ (1, 2 parts), as well as the drama ‘When the Silver Bell Rings’ produced by LG Uplus’s specialty content studio, STUDIO X+U.
Additionally, LG Uplus’s data commerce platform ‘U+Kok’ hosts an event to distribute discount coupons every day for customers preparing for holiday gifts.
