Lee Jae-myung: “President Yoon’s address is not honest… The administration’s key policies need a complete overhaul.”

“Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, repeatedly criticized President Yoon Seok-youl’s national address, saying it lacked reflection and honesty.”

“During the Democratic Party’s Supreme Council meeting, Leader Lee stated, ‘Many people have remarked that they don’t understand what he apologized for,’ and urged for a sincere and serious reflection and apology, as well as a complete shift in the administration’s policies.”

“Park Chan-dae, the floor leader, also criticized the address, referring to it as a ‘second dog apology,’ expressing disappointment and stating, ‘He bowed his head, but the reason remains a mystery, leaving us with a baffling 140 minutes.'”

“Floor Leader Park emphasized, ‘What became clear through this address is that President Yoon lacks the qualifications to be president, and a special investigation into First Lady Kim Geon-hee is necessary.’ He also addressed Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, urging him to choose whether to collapse with the regime or to align with public sentiment.”
