Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, remained silent on future plans as he attended the trial for the Daejang-dong development corruption case for the first time since announcing his presidential candidacy.
Lee appeared at the Seoul Central District Court today (15th) for the trial related to the Daejang-dong, Wirye, and Seongnam FC cases. He did not respond to reporters’ questions about his attendance at the trial amidst the presidential campaign schedule.
The court handling the Daejang-dong case, which had judges replaced earlier this year, is currently undergoing the trial renewal process. Two more trial dates are scheduled for May, coinciding with the presidential campaign period.
