Professor Lee Ho-sun, an expert in counseling, is once again drawing attention for a post she wrote when stepping down from ‘Fate War 49’ amid a controversy over disrespecting the deceased.
On the 23rd, SM C&C, the agency of broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, released an official statement saying, “We deeply mourn the lives and contributions of all the deceased mentioned during the Disney+ ‘Fate War 49’ broadcast and offer our sincere condolences to the bereaved families. We feel a heavy responsibility for the pain caused to the deceased and their families due to certain expressions used in the broadcast. Regardless of the context, we should have been more careful when mentioning the deceased.”
They continued, “Jeon Hyun-moo repeated certain words while summarizing a participant’s comments and did not fully assess the appropriateness of the expressions. He accepts the seriousness of not paying proper respect to the deceased. We sincerely apologize to the deceased and their families.
