Kakao Mobility and the Seoul Tourism Organization Sign MOU for ‘Seoul Tourism Promotion’

“Kakao Mobility announced on December 2 that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Tourism Foundation on the 29th of last month to promote Seoul tourism. Through this agreement, Kakao Mobility plans to provide services that ensure safe and convenient travel for visitors to the 2024 Seoul Lantern Festival and Gwanghwamun Market. These services include the production and operation of informational signage, the development of digital leaflets, and assistance with mobility support.

In particular, signage with lighting and reflective sheet signs will guide visitors’ movement throughout the festival site, and mirrors will serve as both safety measures and photo zones. Moreover, digital leaflets using QR codes will offer event information and travel routes for people with limited mobility, enhancing convenience by allowing pre-checks of event details via the Kakao T and Kakao Navi apps.

The foreigner-exclusive global mobility platform ‘K.ride’ by Kakao Mobility will also be linked. This will allow foreign tourists from over 100 countries to conveniently use Kakao T Blue, Venti, Black, and Premium taxi services without language and payment barriers. Additionally, discounts for foreign visitors will be offered.”
