Jungnang-gu Recruits Participants for ‘Hope Duo Youth Savings Account’… Double Savings Plus Interest

Seoul’s Jungnang District is recruiting participants for the “2025 Hope Double Youth Account” until June 20 to help working young people build assets. This asset-building support project doubles the amount saved, allowing participants to save up to 150,000 won monthly for three years, with a maximum return of 10.8 million won plus interest at maturity.

Eligible applicants must be working youths aged 18 to 34, registered residents of Jungnang District as of the announcement date. They must have a pre-tax monthly income of 2.55 million won or less, a supporter (parent or spouse) with an annual income below 100 million won, and household assets under 900 million won. At least three months of work experience in the past year is also required.

A total of 10,000 people will be selected city-wide, and applications can be submitted online through the Seoul Asset-Building Support Project website. The final selection results will be announced on November 4 on the Jungnang District Office and Seoul Welfare Foundation websites.

Ryu Kyung-gi, the head of Jungnang District Office, stated, “I hope young people can double their funds for the future and their dreams,” and added, “We will continue to push policies that provide a strong support system for Jungnang’s youth.”

Meanwhile, to reinforce the foundations for youth independence, Jungnang District has been actively implementing youth support policies, such as opening the “Jungnang Youth Center,” a community space for young people, last September.
