Actor Ji Soo, who had halted domestic activities following a school violence controversy, has revealed that he is actively working in the Philippines. Recently, through his social media, Ji Soo shared photos and videos of himself performing in Bicol, Philippines. Dressed in an outfit reminiscent of a rock star, he received enthusiastic cheers from the packed crowd of Filipino fans.
Ji Soo, who was on the rise as a star, was embroiled in allegations of school violence in 2021. At the time, he posted a handwritten apology and terminated his contract with his agency, ceasing his entertainment activities.
Having repeatedly claimed his innocence, Ji Soo mentioned in a YouTube video released last August, “There have been many events over the past four years. I completed my military service, and there were issues that were not favorable to me, but I was able to resolve misunderstandings with the involved parties.”
With the intent to resume his activities, Ji Soo has first turned to the Philippines. He is actively participating in works like the Philippine drama ‘Black Rider’ and the movie ‘Rainbow.’
Through a YouTube vlog, Ji Soo stated, “I would like to try works in English. If given the opportunity, I would like to challenge myself with acting in a global film in English.”
