JB Financial Group announced on the 27th that it has been selected as a ‘2024 Outstanding Disclosure Company’ by the Korea Exchange.

A total of eight companies, including JB Financial Group, were selected as outstanding disclosure companies this year. JB Financial Group was the only financial company to be recognized in this evaluation for its contribution to providing transparent and reliable disclosure information. This is their second award since being selected in 2014.

The Korea Exchange annually selects outstanding disclosure companies from the listed companies in the securities market that contribute to enhancing transparency and increasing corporate trust by providing accurate and timely disclosure information to investors.

The evaluation considers both quantitative factors, such as the number of disclosures, and qualitative factors, including disclosure infrastructure and English disclosures. The award-winning companies benefit from special measures such as deferment from being designated as a non-compliant disclosure company for five years (limited to one occurrence) and exemptions from annual exchange fees and additional/change listing fees for one year.

Song Jong-geun, CFO and Vice President of JB Financial Group, stated, “In the future, by enhancing the capabilities of our disclosure officers and strengthening the group’s disclosure controls, we will continue to practice transparent and reliable disclosures. We also plan to actively expand English disclosures to improve foreign investor access to information and to actively disclose plans to enhance corporate value, thereby increasing shareholder value.”
