On the 18th, the Japanese weekly magazine Shukan Josei Seven reported that a Fuji TV internal investigation, initiated due to Masahiro Nakai’s sexual assault case, identified Masaharu Fukuyama as an ‘influential program guest.’ The investigation revealed that since 2005, Fukuyama has held regular meetings with former Fuji TV executive Ryota Ota, with at least 19 female announcers present.

The female announcers testified during the investigation that “Fukuyama’s conversations included vulgar sexual jokes” and “the former Fuji TV executive also engaged in such sexual conversations.”

Fukuyama admitted to making sexually explicit remarks at the social gatherings and expressed that he “deeply regrets his actions.”
