During ongoing Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip, a tent located on the outskirts of the Al-Aqsa hospital in central Gaza was attacked on the 22nd local time, resulting in the death of one journalist and injuries to two others, as reported by local media.

Gaza health authorities stated that with the additional death of a local journalist in this recent attack, the total number of journalists killed since the start of the conflict has reached 163.

Footage taken immediately after the airstrike shows people inside the burning tent used for reporting work, trying to extinguish the fire with water.

Separately, it has been confirmed that at least 38 people have been killed in the vicinity of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza due to Israeli military attacks. Among the deceased are women and children, while the injured have been transferred to the nearby Nasser Hospital for treatment.

Since last October, Gaza health authorities have reported that the number of Palestinian fatalities due to Israeli attacks has exceeded 39,000.
