According to the Ulsan Fire Department and Ulsan Police, at 1:01 PM on that day, a taxi in operation collided with a wall. The taxi was carrying four passengers, including the driver. Among them, a total of three people, including the driver and two passengers in their 70s, died on the spot. All three showed no signs of breathing when rescued. The impact of the collision was severe enough to significantly damage most of the front bumper.

It is believed that the taxi slid while turning a curve on a downhill and crashed into the wall.
