**Feature Addition and Price Rationalization… Top Trim Reduced by 200,000 KRW**
Hyundai has announced the launch of the new model year for the mid-size sedan, the ‘2025 Sonata The Edge,’ and has begun its full-scale sales as of the 25th.
The new Sonata The Edge stands out for incorporating feedback from customers by adding certain features and rationalizing prices across its trims.
Hyundai has relocated the interior fingerprint authentication feature from the left side of the cluster in the existing Sonata to the top of the center console, making it usable from the passenger seat as well.
Additionally, the ‘after blow’ feature, which helps dry moisture, has been applied to the manual air conditioner, and the logic for the heated and ventilated seats has been adjusted to operate from high to low settings.
The top-of-the-line Inspiration trim of the Sonata gasoline model has seen a price reduction of 200,000 KRW.
The selling price ranges from 28.31 to 35.36 million KRW for the Smartstream Gasoline 2.0 model, 28.98 to 36.03 million KRW for the 1.6 Turbo model, and 32.40 to 39.31 million KRW for the hybrid model (considering tax benefits).
